Day 2: Colombo

After having a delicious complimentary breakfast in the hotel, start visiting the city and enjoy the beauty of Colombo.

City Tour: On your way to the city, you find many interesting and famous places including Galle Face Green, the Viharamahadevi Park, National Museum, Twin World Trade Center towers, Old Parliament Building, Fort district, Independence Hall at Independence Square, and prominent Buddhist, Hindu, Islam and Christian places of worship. (Entrance fees to sites not included). For shopping, you may visit Odel, House of Fashion, Beverly Street, Majestic City, Noritake, etc.

Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage Enroute to your destination, you can visit one of the most important tourist attraction in Sri Lanka, the Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage, where the volunteers and other individuals take care and provide shelter, food to the orphaned, abandoned and other injured elephants within the park. You can watch caretakers feed, bathe and help these gentle giants. You can also watch the elephants playing with the water and spending time under the shades. Lying amidst the hills, Kandy is the last capital of the ancient kings of Sri Lanka. While being the second largest city in Sri Lanka it is also famous for its immense beauty and is named as one of the seven UNESCO declared World Heritage sites in the country. With its luxuriant prairie, picturesque lake, longest river of the country and misty mountains, Kandy successfully mesmerizes every visitor unsurprisingly.

City Tour: On your visit to the city, you will find the world heritages as well as a sacred place for the Buddhists all over the world; namely the Temple of tooth Relic known to the Sri Lankans as DaladaMaligawa. Your next visit will be to the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens which is a paradise for nature lovers. This beautiful flower Eden is restored with over 300 different varieties of orchids, other spices, medicinal plants and Palm trees. Every year more than 1.2 million people are enchanted by the beauty of these 147 acre flower gardens.

Precious gems, the sapphires of Sri Lanka, which are very exclusive and comes in shades of blue, red, green, white etc. In the evenings, you can experience, a traditional and cultural dance shows and many other events which do not include any entry fees.

Have breakfast at the hotel and once you are done with it, start to visit the beauty of Bentota, the city of Golden beaches. This particular place makes you feel warmth, allows you to relax. Bentota provides the perfect turf for unfurled vacation at the beach. While enjoying the sun, sea and sand the water sports lovers have various facilities for enrolling themselves in many water games and enjoy themselves in the sands of Bentota. 

City tour: On your visit to the city, you can enjoy a boat ride along the river Madhu. It is a scenic tour relaxing and interesting while passing many islets forested with mangroves and experience the natural rhythms as well.

There is also a turtle hatchery, which makes your visit more interesting. It is the prime nesting site of the turtles opened by the Wild life protection society in the year 1981. You can have a look at the huge newly born turtles in the big tanks. Package rates are on per person on twin sharing basis and it means 2 persons will stay in same room.

Package rates are based on minimum of 2 pax travelling together.

Surcharges will apply for less number of pax.

There will be extra charges for child with or without bed and triple sharing. Child age: 2-9 years. Above 9 years is considered as an adult.

We are not responsible for any missed breakfast due to flight timings.

Optional Meals do not include transfers; the meal will be delivered to your hotel if the restaurant is not within walking distance.

Seat in coach Tour / Transfer pick-up depends on hotel location, if hotel is outside of pick-up zone, clients will have to make own arrangements.

No Intercity surface transfers are included unless specified in the package.

Payment for the tour must be made as per the invoice & payment terms & conditions.

There will be extra charges for Gala dinners on New Year & Christmas evening and customer have to pay extra for that.

Between 29-20 days of departure: Non-refundable deposit + 25% of the Holiday Cost.
Between 19-14 days of departure: Non-refundable deposit + 50% of the Holiday Cost.
Between 13-08 days of departure: Non-refundable deposit + 75% of the Holiday Cost.
Prior to 7 days of the departure: 100% of the Holiday Cost.
