Day 1: Airport / Galle
Up on arriving the Bandaranaike International airport, Apple Holidays representative greet you with their standard salutation “Ayubowan” and escort you to the vehicle, in which you are yet to travel to reach Galle enjoying the beauty of Sri Lanka.
Galle a major city in Sri Lanka and its harbor was frequented by the Chinese and Arabian sailors in the 16th century before the days of Portuguese rule. Dutch captured this place in the year 1640 and continued their rule for more than a century and then handed over to the British in the year 1796. History reveals that the Chinese Admiral Zheng He, who commanded seven great voyages through the South China Seas and the Indian Ocean between 1405 and 1433, erected a tablet in 1409 in Galle in commemoration of his second visit to Sri Lanka. The trilingual tablet discovered in 1911 has inscriptions in Chinese, Tamil and Arabic languages, suggesting that the Chinese were dealing with a cosmopolitan trading community at that time.
Galle is the beautiful and unmissable place, where you can witness the sun and sand. People staying here experience the salty winds and also has a massive collection of Dutch colonial buildings, classic architecture.

Day 2: Galle
A delicious breakfast is provided as complimentary at the hotel, after breakfast proceed to the Galley city visit.
City visit: Galle Dutch fort, oldest fort in Asia which is named as world heritage by UNESCO, is one of the most popular places and you come across it during your visit to the tour, it attracts the people who value the archaeological reserves and heritage much. There are various eye-catching and interesting things to watch inside the fort such as the Dutch museum, containing the paints, pictures, furniture of the Dutch reformed church. This fort is built on a peninsula, which can be easily accessed from the town. It is always advisable to visit the place in the evening as, there is a chance of witnessing the sunset at its best. The trilingual inscription is found in the National Museum in Colombo and a copy of it can also be found in the Maritime Museum in Galle.

Day 3: Galle - Colombo
The next morning you can move to Colombo from Galle. Colombo is the place which is known for business and commercial dealings and the new capital is Sri Jayawardhanapura Kotte, which is only a few miles away.
Colombo, is a bustling city and is a point for beaches, which came into limelight in the 16th century, after the arrival of the Portuguese in 1505 and the development of it as a harbor was taken care in the British period and then became the capital of the island nation in 1815 after Kandy was ceded to the British.
The remains of the buildings and many more of the Portuguese, Dutch and British rule are found in every corner of the city.
Some of the Portuguese & Dutch fortifications are found even today but some of their buildings and churches could be seen in the Fort &Pettah areas.Visit Fort, the former British administrative center and military garrison, Sea Street - the Goldsmith’s quarters in the heart of Pettah, the Bazaar area where there is also a Hindu Temple with elaborate stone carvings is also famous, the Kaymans Gate with the Belfry at the original gate to enter the Fort, the Dutch Church of Wolfendhaal dating back to 1749, Kelaniya Buddhist Temple, Davatagaha Mosque, Colombo Museum and the Natural History Museum are some of the sites to be visited. Also visit the BMICH (Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall), see the replica of Avukana Buddha and the Independence Square.

Day 4: Colombo
Have a nap and relax in the hotel and in the evening you can go for the shopping at ODEL, House of fashion, Noritake ceramic & souvenir shop “Lak Medura” .Overnight stay is at the hotel in Colombo.
